These abusers typically masquerade as the victim's boyfriend, husband, drug dealer, or someone who never allows them to be out of sight. Physical signs of abuse are often visible. They employ tactics such as isolating the victim by cutting off communication with their family and friends, ensuring that they remain in a controlled environment. Additionally, they may use illegal street drugs to maintain absolute control. It is important to recognize that these abusers claim to love their victims, but their true motivation is the financial gain derived from the victims' activities. In the worst-case scenario, the victim is completely dominated and, in some cases, brainwashed into believing that their actions are part of a loving relationship.

Prostitution - is the exchange of sexual services for money or goods. It involves the act of engaging in sexual activities or providing sexual favors in return for financial compensation. Prostitution can occur in various forms and settings, ranging from street-based solicitation to brothels, escort services, or online platforms. Most prostitutes are controlled by a pimp or who sometimes will pose as a boyfriend.

Human Trafficking - refers to the illegal and exploitative trade of human beings. It involves the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of individuals through force, coercion, deception, or abduction for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation can take various forms, including forced labor, sexual exploitation, involuntary servitude, or debt bondage. Human trafficking often involves vulnerable individuals who are subjected to manipulation, abuse, and control by traffickers.
